It obviously fits into the gear box end but i'm not sure if the dash end has the the same speedo head on both dash clusters?

Has anyone used a 1200 speedo cable in a 1000?

The cable? Probably so, most Datsuns use the same cable, length is the most important property.

I have heard that the speedo cable from a 1200 will fit into a 1000 instrument panel, can anyone confirm this?
