yep iv got my eyes on a few 1600s rally cars that are ready to the one im realy interested in has twin webers on it so ill always have a pair aleast

well considering they go for around $500 for a standard gx head i would be looking at the $850 mark or some where around $1500 for the whole engine

i went and got a qoute for this sort of rebuild from another engine builder and he said $1500-$2000 grand to rebuild one to the spec of mine so i think $1500 for the whole engine is prity good

I was interested in the head. But I just got an offer in (as a result of this thread) so I'm out for the time being.

Just out of interest, how much would you sell the head (complete) for?

Yeah thats cool mate,i was saying only on Saturday that my current build will be my last.The thing owes over 15k already and it's nothing flash and a way off completion yet.
If i go to my105 you can get all sorts of good stuff for that money with all the hard work done.

Besides i think 7 race cars from scratch should be enough for any brain dead person like me.
