I think only the early ones have the threaded breather so that makes things a bit more difficult. Think I'll have to get someone to measure it.

Nope I don't know where but ebay is a good start, although they fetch some nice $$$ these days. Theres about 6 or 7 different L4 rocker covers,

Early ones have ribs over the nose of the cover and a twist cap like a-series with datsun 1300,1400,1600 or 1800 on it and also have shorter bolts holding it to the head.

Later ones I have seen with datsun 1600 and a screw cap, also come with datsun ohc and nissan ohc, I'm sure there are others.

Does anyone know what size and pitch the thread is for the breather on a L-series rocker cover, Its an early L16 rocker cover.
I need to order the fitting to finish off lines to my catch can.
