Turn you disk dust covers into scoops. a bit of heat and a hammer and they turn out quite nice.

I run R32 calipers and 280mm rotors on my car and I usually get excellent bit from the brakes on the 2nd lap of a super sprint. The first lap is OK, but once you get some heat into them they bite real nice. [i run ferodo racing ds2500 pads] they squeal a bit at low speed and cold, but once they warm up, they are fantastic.

im building a setup this week in my spare time out of panel steel and the flexi tubing tack welded and pop rivited to the front apron, purely because im running at bathurst. but ive done 27 laps of wakefield and only just started to get pad knock off in my 1200 coupe with stanza brakes
so id just see how you go, but make a set up and try them on the day.
ill post some pics up of my work.

If you are doing endurance racing i would say yes. If you are doing sprint laps, i have my doubts that ducting will be required, if anything, you will want as much heat in your brakes as possible on your warm up lap.

Do a google image search for brake ducting and you should get a few ideas from the photos you see on there.
