alright i have found out that i can get an adaptor plate that sits on top of the carbie with the filter on it that screws down,,,the only trouble is that i am needing one that will sit under the turbo scoop. eventually i will buy myself a twin sidedrapht setup but this will do for now. i have to get a filter that is 5cms. and then the adaptor plate can only be 2 all up. so yeah where would be the best place to get one of these??

wouldnt it be about the same amount of trouble to use a sidedraft carby, or a vanette manifold that angles down for more clearance, than chopping up your bonnet.

yeah i have to ring up dpi or what ever it is to see what i can and cant do.. or get them to send out a list for me. the engine sits too high for me to put any standard filter undeneath:( i do have a turbo scoop but am thinking of something a little tougher because the thou is a tough little car.

I have an airbox that i modified originally from a vanette i think that basically lets you attatch a pipe for a pod. i could take some pics so you could copy it or you could buy it if you get stuck
