Firstly, you can't "extend" your arms as it makes the car illegal. The current rules do not allow any modifications of the standard lower control arms. I am pretty sure, you can't even use an arm off another car - but you may want to double check that.

To stay legal for Improved Production, you can relocated the pivot point by up to 45mm radially from the standard pivot point.

With the current Yokohama control tyre, you shouldn't need more than 4-4.5 degrees of camber and you can achieve up to 7 degrees of castor if you need to.

there is no longer bolt in control arm, all the other longer datsun ones have a different bush setup at the crossmember end, use a larger bolt and the bush is thinner so you need a fair amount of spacing to suit a sunny crossmember. and they also have different mounting points for the castor rod and balljoints and stuff

What do you think about using 200B lower arms they are about 40-50mm longer.

You could redrill the pivot points further out on the crossmember, I've redrilled mine 8 mm further out, it gives about 1 degree of negative camber. You can also get some 200B steering arms, these are offset from the ball joint, but you need 180B out tie rod ends & a spacer under the nut on the ball joint holding the steering arm to it.This gives about another 1-1.5 degrees neg. It also seems to imnprove the Ackermann angle, which is good for turn in. My Sunny Coupe has 3.5 degrees neg with 3.5 degrees castor & 1/16th of an inch Toe Out, does 56 seconds around Oran Park with a stock l18 (standard cam, compression, but webers & extractors). I know some people insist you need 6-7 degrees negative camber, but I've never needed that much.

I'm after some info on how to extend my sunny lower control arms to get more camber. I have to do this without rose joints so the car can stay in improved production. Do any other datto ones fit that are longer. And I have 240K struts and adjustable strut tops.

Any help would be great.
