Washing off the mold won't kill it it may come back. The only thing that kills mold off for good is bleach (sodium hyperchloride). Quatinary ammonium (toilet duck) products will do a good job as well.
I used to work for a mob called Driveline Services. They have branches in Brisbane and one in Newcastle. There was talk of a Vic branch but I don't know if that was just talk or not. But they will do any shaft mods if is physically possible. I have burnt my bridges there but their work is first rate.

Any uni's can be replaced at a reliable tailshaft joint, whether they drill out and replace with larger or replace standard I don't know.

The one I just had balanced already had been fitted with holden unis, only cost me 25 each uni to replace.

Yes you can clean the seatbelts with light soapy water, like the kind for delicate cloths. Don't use strong detergent.

Gday All
Since the Datto has been sitting in shed for over 2 years now fine green mold has appeared on vinyl BUT more importanly on the SEATBELTS.Can the belts be cleaned safely with a product or do I replace

My second question the tail shafts I have for the 75 120y sedan all have the non renewable unijoints and they are stuffed ....
The car has to be Blueslipped in NSW so any ideas on how to fix it legally.
