can't have rake??? what a dick head! its standard for crying out loud.

If you wanted to lower it on the other hand, just take the two middle leaves out which leaves you with a main leaf and the big fat load bearer. too easy

Geez Wurel, This inspector is giving you a hard time. With the facts presented, IMO this inspector is not competent at doing there job. Commercial vehices usually have more rake than the typical passenger vehicle. Is the front of the wags been lowered at all?

Only joking but its for sure the lightest wagon ever made that can take 500kg
most commercial vehicles of this nature like daihatsu jet only carry 450kg payload
yet they weight about 850kg. Just keep the bolts for something else and then
re-set your leafs to what is needed. Usually costs 90 a side if your mechanic
takes them out for you and you take them to a springs joint.

As another 5 star who's been around since the wagon was new, they where all down hill racers when new for all the reasons previously stated. Now keeping in mind the 1K is a pre ADR stamped vehicle this means the vehicle should present in an "un modified state" to pass any RWC.
It's time to call RWC friends bluff because he's wrong, another example is if the car did'nt come out with a heater...it does'nt have to have one now if you follow the letter of the law,but some rwc folk think they know it all and won't do any up date reasearch.
On the lowering blocks,i have done several times what Beattie has suggested with no ill effects on road or track, just make sure everything fits nice and tight including the top pin in the block,i use a piece of steel rod and press it in.

running 14s...yeh ive got that brochure scan somewhere...still stock doesnt make it legal... or does it?
I'm beginning to hate RWCs...engineer certs ect, its not so much them i hate, just the dismisinformation and downright confusion surrounding them.
One will tell you blocks are illegal the other not, the other day i heard if you pass rego and revert the car within 30 days..you get charged with fraud...wtf?
