Hi, thanks guys, Burson did have one and it worked fine. Cost me $158. I was unaware that there was two types. It was for a 120y.

Looks like a 120Y in his Avatar, so I'd assume it's a long arm one. If they gave him a 1200 one, it wouldn't reach the cam lobe. I think they moved this out to clear the distributor in it's new position.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

Post 73 have longer cam follower. Need to know position of alternator to get right one. I have a couple here and may have access to NOS one.

Can't you get one from Burson's? If a new one doesn't work, you probably purchased the wrong A12 pump. 1970-1973 may be different from 1974-up due to the A-series Engine Redesign.
