yeah but its more complex than I thought when researching it.

On my setup just to clear things up a little, my blower will be attached
to a custom sidedraft manifold at 15 or 20 degrees and the pulley will be
inline with the rear pulley on the alternator below it.
So I really need a vanette exhaust manifold or a custom unit that allows
clearance for the belt.
The pulleys are going to be stepped ones but maybe the Alternator front,
crank and waterpump will have to at minimum be twin pulley V ones.

Todays I ducked out and found a very rare diesel Jap import.
1989 Mazda capella pressure wave charged engine. Some kind of
supercharger called a comprex pressure charger.
All a heavy cast iron contraption but the alloy head diesel
engine was impressive with 495,000klm.

heres a pic for reference of the alt and sc, funny they weigh the exactly the same.

Didnt see the link :0)

The hilux diesel alternators pulley is 2.5:1 smaller than engine crank or higher
last time I calculated so say 2.5 x 4800 max rpm = 12000rpm

If I use the latest AC style Mercedes diesel alternators by bosch Id be set as
they are the most efficient, but although I had several in my hand from test model
Musso 4x4 that never passed and where scrapped, I didnt bother then :(

The original A10 alternator pulley is about 2.5 to 3 times smaller than the crank also.

D, just a thought with the diesel alternator. What is the max RPM the Toyota diesel spins to? You could be adding 50-60%+ onto the operating RPM of the alternator and I was worrying if it could come apart with the high (for a diesel) RPM?

All Nissan by Aisin from the Nissan Super March turbo, a supercharged and turbo
ma10 all alloy ma10 engine with hemi heads and crossflow ohc layout.
This is the benchmark to this technology 20 years ahead of the current VW golf.
SUS are off a Triumph 2.5 litre six so halve that and 1.25 is almost right on.

Now gotta get the stepped pulleys for the crank, water pump and front and rear ones
made for a Hilux diesel alternator which runs a shaft at the back to for the air
pump which will power the SC. Im thinking of using timing sprockets from ohc and
dohc engines, although a little heavy theyre easier to find than twin pulleys.

This is the easiest way, as the back of the alternator will balanced the force on
the bearing at the front from the crank and the rear via the SC.
Also the Alternator already run 2.5 or 3:1 faster than the crank so will suit my
aim for 10psi boost with a 2:1 ratio at the rear.

6000rpm limit will see the SC near 12000rpm very rarely and mostly only 4000 so
halve of the 16,000 redline of the SC.

Just got back from Geelong and got 2 superchargers for a twin charge setup :)
just kidding one for an A10 and the other for the A12.
I also got a set of excellent SUS with the external fuel bowls as recommended
by SU worshipping Jmac. They are both 1.75mm just right for the 1-1.2 liters.
