I believe the 2 holes are to give different speeds that the fuel is added to the airstream. The further out the hole, the slower the fuel is sprayed in. The inner hole is at the same length as the single hole arm, so there is no advantage using one of these arms. You basically get the same amount of fuel, just not as quickly if you use the outer hole.

This is common in carburetor design.

The two holes are so it fits a variety of engines. Typically one hole is used for one model and the other hole when used on another model.

The instructions should indicate which hole to use.

i have a stock carb,

i found that the accelerator pump lever have two hole, my question is, is there any performance/FC different between using those two holes? i understand that using the hole that is nearer to the fulcrum makes the accelerator pump travel further. why there are two holes?
