Sumitomo's of that era usually need an aluminium spacer made so they can fit new pads in on vented discs (which are usually about 20mm thick rather than
12 mm thick).

Vented discs of thickness less than 20mm are aT BEST DUBIOUS FROM AN ENGINEERING PERSPECTIVE. Drilled or slotted rotors are better for that thickness....

Heaps of options still at that size....

I got the sumitomo's off a 260C.
I would like to fit vented discs onto stanza struts with these calipers. I saw a posting from someone recently who had the the same combination (sumitomo calipers/
vented discs/stanza struts)and they said that the discs were 260mm but were not sure what they were off as they bought the car with them fitted.

Even bigger nissan struts (200B/Skyline) need serious work to fit - I've got skyline brakes waiting to go one when the motor is rebuilt and I've had to shave bits off to fit under 13"
wheels, but the coil springs need to be swapped with smaller coils, and thus need to have major mods to fit. You can't just bolt the stub axles on cos the shafts and bearing sizes are
different. This make it all much harder than on a 1600....

Volvo 4 piston calipers go very close to fitting without mods (weld up one bolthole and then retap the bolthole on the strut). Hilux 4 pistons are supposed to go straight on. Ive heard of
plenty of people who've used commodore calipers (and some used commodore discs). Apparently old CL/CM Chrysler vented discs can be swapped on the original struts just by changing bearings.

Try also Mitsubishi scorpions/sigmas...

Sumitomo twin spot calipers are usually off Toyota's and Nissans - 240Z/260Z's had these. 260mm vented discs could be off just about anything as so many cars used discs of
about 10.5 inches. A common conversion would be to use other japanese parts (subarus are reasonably common, so are toyota hiluxes).

Need more information than that I'm afraid...

Not sure. You really need to be matching all three, and starting with the caliper makes for interesting re-engineering.

The Magna ones are very good (they need some machining), I use them as discussed in earlier posts, but they rely on using the large 180B axle/wheel hubs, and Commodore Calipers,
which are hard for our overseas fanatics to get. I've heard of other combinations, as used by Andrew Denniss, he uses hilux stuff (not sure of struts)
We should make up a matrix of brake upgrades, so others can do that same. Basically post:
Lower Arms
Strut
Disks
Hubs
Calipers
Modifications?

Cheers,
Chris
