I agree, the import statement doesn't hold true imo.... the engine compartment ID tag would be written in japanese kanji if it was indeed a JDM car. I think alot of sellers on fleabay, lose sight that typically car enthusiasts are the ones who are tempted to buy them, and most car people are well imformed on there preferred manufacturer.

The Datsun guard badges and shield placement give it away as an export model, the JDM cars have a sunny coupe badge low down on the guard with the shield just above it.

HA HA Yeah berts got it sussed i read the add came across the import story and thought mmm seems like rubbish but bert confirmed it. It does look to be a good basis for a neat little car nice mild A15 with 5 speed and H165 fun fun.

Has anyone asked about whether it really was an import? I would be interested to hear what is said.

over here its an extremely rare car, kinda like finding a 1200 ute here. I've only seen one in person - Dave's in Vancouver & only one for sale in canada in all the time I've been poking around for datsun parts for the coupe.

What rubbish! Why do people find it appropriate to tell lies when trying to sell old Dattos.A KB10 back in 95'in this condition i reckon could have been snipped in OZ for around $200-$500,so why would anyone in thier right mind buy,ship,pay all the associated fees etc etc to get one out of Japan?CRAP CRAP CRAP
