Last time we were autocrossing in wet conditions both my nephew and I ended up dropping the tire pressure. Both cars were having issues with the tires chattering and losing grip. We kept dropping the pressure until the tires stopped chattering.

Of course, the way things went the track started drying out and I had to make a mad dash back to our pit area and pump the tires back up for the last run...

Hi fellow racers.
Do you inflate or deflate your tyres in the wet?
Last time out I overinflated them and they seemed to work fine.
But have talked to others that swear they should be run underinflated.
Any Ideas ?
Cheers
Bob
