Hey Don,

I have been in touch with an engineer since day 1 and he's okay with where it's at at the moment.
My ute has a length of square tube welded in the entire width of the front end under the top panel for the radiator support.
It's much stronger now than it ever was! I think PIGDOG did this also?
Nearly all engineers are different.

Im suprised to hear about NSW though. Is it a new thing?
It wasn't that long ago that I lived there and we got quite a few cars engineered with numerous body mods to fit turbo's, piping and intercoolers.

I did hear a rumour from a good source that NSW is about to get extreemly serious with mods to cars - No engine conversions allowed and all sorts!
Apparently not straight away but in the not too distant future.

I could be wrong but it seems as though you have had to chop some of the front out to get the new cooler in??

I don't know about other states but in NSW chopping does not go down well with engineers, even when its done neatly.... Whats the go in VIC??

Good luck anyway.

Thanks for the kind words Zig Zag!

Yeh, Your right Rallycar - It's a typo, It is 75mm.
It's all about getting as much air through the coolers as possible.

cool ute, pity your selling

that intercooler aint x45, thats less than two inches wide with a three inch outlet, must be x75

got any photos from back of intercooler with no rad? i like what you have done adding sections back in to close around the cooler. i've been planning to do the same on mine
