800 now is a pretty good price. But I still remember my mates factory that he owned 10-20 years ago and when it shut down he was just throwing out 5 speed boxes, a12's, a14's even a15's. Its amazing how much prices change over time. That's what happens when your playing with old cars tho!! Haha

I could probably do around that price but need to investigate shipping methods further.

Are you still looking for an 'a' series 60 5 speed, I have one that has been checked out by mechanic, the only replacement part required and fitted was a new thrust bearing.
The box is still 'tight'ie - the gear stick selection is positive and not like a pudding stick. Box was running b 4 being pulled out and checked, there were no problems.
Let me know if you are interested, can put on skid/pallet for shippment to Tas as I am in Vic, been there, done that in the tpt industry so I can get u a very competitive rate if you are interested.
Let me know, Sam.
p.s. i am only putting it on the market now, check this link for feebay as this is about the going rate for a 60 series 5sp box now.

Hi,

I'm after a "Better than 56 series" 5 speed that bolts to an A series.

So either a FS5W60A or FS5W60L.

I am willing to pay frieght and handling to get it down to TAS 7054.
