I have done so and it works.

The factory wiring is a bit better, is uses a relay trigged by alternator output. That way if you turn the key on for a bit before you start it, nothing happens. See Choke.

As i said, it will work fine. That's what I'm running: A15 carburetor on a Datsun 1200 with A12 engine.

hi thanks i would buy the a12 one but wanted it with auto choke and the a15 carby is the only one with it on the website!

if you think it will run fine a bit lean i will buy it or else i wont. i found these specs on tech wiki for a12 and a15 carbs in comprarioson their similar jets (ithink) besides the slow air bleed looks like a huge difference?

would it run good??

They also sell a brand-new A12 carburetor. Why not buy the 'right' one?

Yes, it will work fine. That's what I'm running. It is jetted leaner than the original carburetor is all.

Minimum order of 100 units on Alibaba.
