These are the ones reported to work:
Quote:
VW Golf/Rabbit

* Golf Mk I insert is nearly 4 inches shorter than stock and will need a simple spacer made to make up the difference in length in the bottom of the tube.

* Strut piston diameter is larger than B110, so drill out the strut-nut and the strut top hole.

I had to remove the paint off my Golf shocks [kyb's] and also hone the inside of the strut tube, to get mine to fit... There is about .5mm in it to make them slide in.

I must have something wrong here... i ordered mk1 golf inserts and they seem to be slightly to big to go in the 1200 strut.

does someone have a part number for the shocks? or is there a specific 1200 strut i need?

Arrrrrghh!
