Sure playing with danger thats a given
with such little protection in case of
a mistake or a hiccup.
I just inquired about the carbon gouging
rods and the cheapest I could get is in
a pack for 70aud from welding suppplies
or 50 plus delivery from ebay.
ebay

anyone know anything about this unit?

It seems as though it is missing the electrode arms, which are just copper rod, but still.
Local seller wants $150 for it. Ad just says in good condition. Might go and look at it next week.

That cheepo spot welder (trigger type) will need like a dolly behind it for a good weld and also it is nothing more than a carbon gouging rod with a trigger on it. No joke, go buy a gouging rod from a welding supply place and set your arc welder on 60 amps and press it to the pannel, once welded remove it and tada a spot weld.

I got it 2 months ago on eBay for $230. BARGAIN!

I figure it will pay for itself in one hit if i ever replace a sill or rear quarter
