It is about time we sent another 2-dr your way. After all, a 2-dr was sent from AUS to USA a while back.

I can look at it, take photos, and be go-between for purchase and shipping. Just pay my expenses, like petrol and the $12 boat fees back & forth from Bainbridge island. If you like it from the report, send the money and I'll buy it. I'll take it to the shippers. I can get a bill of sale, plus the WA state title (signed releasing interest).

Check with AUS customs for what is required to import into AUS.
To import into USA only needs:
* steam cleaning receipt
* bill of sale
* certification of year of manufacture
* Signing of EPA (pollution) and DOT (safety) waivers
* 2% tax I think

Not that much more than bringing that wagon to Melb from Perth. Hard part is getting someone to pick it up and ship it. Customs etc.. Not even sure if the bodies full of bog or not .... Oh well !!

1972 DATSUN 1200 - $1000 (BAINBRIDGE ISLAND)
Date: 2011-12-12, 6:49PM PST

Under 100k original miles, interior needs a lot of love, needs turning signals, E-brake is shot, needs new battery, engine is in great condition. Great project, derby, or commuting car; few repairs needed. $1000 OBO---I need this car gone before the end of the week so I will consider all offers and will probably let it go to the first person interested. Car will be sold as is. Battery is missing so it currently wont run, You'll need to tow it away on your own. Car had jumped the last owner without it getting signed over, I do not have the title. The last owner it was titled to lives in bremerton, I was in the process of meeting with him but got caught up with life and lost his info. It will be on your hands to get it titled in your name. This car will be recycled on the 18th---So any offers will need to be made ASAP. Call anytime between 8am-10pm.

Austin
