yeah I Must just be asking the wrong places I tried on bearing shop and they couldn't find anything so I'll just keep trying I guess thanks for the help though it much appreciated

Read the number off the bearing and get one from a bearing supply company. Dont tell them what it's for. They can match it up for a fraction of what Nissan spares charge.

Ok finally figured the problem. The bearing at the very end of the shaft was crushed (by me whoops) and now I have the lovely problem of no one being able to supply the bearing. Weather thee being lazy or not I'm in abit of a pickle, because the car needs to go to the panel beater

Oh sorry I left the circlip off but your steering shaft looks way different I'll have a look tonight and see if I can screw it in more that might make a little more sense actually cheers I'll let you know how I go

I don't see a clip in that photo, but it looks like the bushing is not screwed in far enough.
