You can put almost any engine in a datsun but making it go fast with the original donk for drag, circuit racing or destroying yuppie cars gets a standing ovation from me.

I think the 3 most important fast street legal datsuns have to be in this order: A series boosted, DC electric and ca18det. All not the absolute fastest but fantastic enough to ruin the ego of most supercars owners with pushrods, RC like electric or cheap lil 1.8 donk plentiful in wreckers.

Im not sure if mick's motorsport Turbo A15 is street legal but from memory it ran like 8.6sec or less.

(i may be incorrect, if someone has the exact details to correct my mistake please do)

Yea nice mate took me in his coupe yesterday.let the transbrake go and f"#k me the thing is quick.9.6 it ran at the creek.best thing people could do is take the a12 out.not a fan of any Datsun engine :)
