Yeah pretty sure about it being 3 months. At least in NSW anyway. I've certainly utilised this time period to my benefit in the past.

I had the same problem. I got all the bushing up front replaced and a new set of tires
helped massively! almost unnoticeable pull now

fwiw on cars with adjustable castor rods, a 'token' few mm of adjustment can make the difference between 'straight as an arrow' and 'changing lanes without indicating' when you let go of the steering wheel momentarily.

If you hit 'anything' hard enough you can bend or alter things easily enough to alter the steering 'neutrality' without it being massively visible damage.

This is by no means 'the last word' on things - but even though in std form, caster is non adjustable on the dattos, get them to measure the existing caster to see where it is at. In my experience caster tends to have the greatest effect on which way a car pulls. Second (not by much but still second) is toein/out which may not affect which side it will pull to (like caster differences will) but will tend to alter how severe the effect of a caster imbalance is. and camber, is more or less 3rd in line and less likely to have as big an efect on it.

Get a wheelie and they will be able to tell you if there's more wrong

have you had a wheel alignment? now it sounds like you could weld up the crack and get an alignment and it will be ok?

too expensive, i got quoted 1500 to cut the entire front off the rally car and weld another on

no engineer cert required, unless maybe you put it through insurance and they try to write it off

it will cost a bit as they will have to put it on a rack to make it square, but surely you can get out of it for less than a 1000

Split chassis rail = ticking time bomb. If it fails completely, anything could happen and you may lose control of the car endangering yourself and others. Get it sorted ASAP.
