Stiff pedal means it is properly bled. Mushy pedal needs bleeding

if it needs a lot of leg pressure to stop, it could be that it has a brake booster but it's. Disconnected

the guy i bought it off recon the engine but i dont think its tuned!
brake pedal is really stiff! might have to bleed the brakes to see any air bubbles and see if the drum brakes are working properly
500ks wow i would love to get that high lol

well going to start repairing it soon, i just wanted to see if that 250kms mark is a bit low and i guess it is!!!

My coupe would have done almost 500kms to a tank and that's running too rich with no vacuum advance. (I didn't go that far though becuase the guage is a bit dodgy.)

My ute is getting about 12 km/liter on the highway @ 100 kph

Fuel economy was advertised as 17.3 k/liter, but I don't think that's possible unless you are going an even 60 km/h on flat roads. If you go 100 km/h it will use a lot more fuel.

If you're talking about kms per tank then that's pretty poor, you should get nearly twice that. Check the brakes aren't sticking, the tires are pumped up and make sure the engine's tuned properly. If you were driving into a severe head wind or towing a large trailer then there's probably not much to worry about.
