I have a single piece adjustable unit (like the one in DD's pic) you can have for $20 (to cover postage) if you send me a set of the non-adjustable ones?

I used Sedan rails in my ute.

You can even use two driver's seat rails.

2-piece rails or single-piece (like in this photo) both work:

No worries. I hope you figure it out some way. Slide mounts out of something else may be your solution or even a set of fix back racing seats :)

I have just been playing around fitting after market seats in my ute so try this.
If you take your original passenger seat out and have a look at the fixed mounts you will find the seat bolts to the mounts off Center. Try and spin the mounts around and bold them back to seat and sit in car you may just find it will put the seat back about the inch or two your looking for. The mounts have a different mounting face at either end. One is a thin strait ish tab boling to floor and other is a rounded larger mounting face. Had me stumped for a minute figuring out why my seat wasn't lining up due to having them in opposed to each other.
Hope that helps
