Really, sounds like you need a paddle down the creek your going. Otherwise deep pockets will do the trick.

Don't bother flipping one, yes it's easy and free but you will be sacrificing handling.
I took my ute springs out and took it to a suspension place that dealt with leafs. Cost me $250 for the to be heated up and flattened with extra metal plating put in for better load carrying. Plus they gave them a fresh lick of black too. This is if you pull them out yourself. Just give some shops a call and have a chat to one of the old boys.

okk then thanks for that not really looking to spend that much but now i know at least what a good price is for a set. I already have 2 inch blocks in buts its way to high so thinking maybe lowering at least another 2 inches and get some good rear shocks..

maddat sell brand new lowered 1200 ute springs for about $500 or so, i saw a set sell on ebay a few months ago for around $270. If you take yours into a spring joint i think its around $250+ to get them reset, or you can do it yourself by adding another leaf and flipping some of them around, im sure there is a thread on here somewhere that will tell you how to do it or buy some lowering blocks off ebay for $90 "including postage"
