Stock l18 with twin carbs, elec dizzy and a Cam will have you happy. Might not be 110HP but way better pulling than an a series

Yessir. L-series 1200 ute... plus or minus 110 hp depending what motor modifications i can afford.

So did I. R30 gearbox was noticeably slower at hillclimbs. Small gearing changes can make massive performance differences. The shift mechanisms are the same, so no reason (other than condition) for the shift to feel any better or worse - unless you mean you prefer the normal H pattern?

Anyway. Make me an offer mate. I'm pretty sure I'll go with the 260Z box for my car.
