Yes, there is a service kit -- but it is very rarely needed.

Contains
* new 'needle & seat' valve for the fuel inlet
* new fuel bowl gasket
* new dome gasket (which rarely goes bad)
* new gaskets for the fuel lines

It is doesn't leak, don't fix fix it! Sometimes they come with new oil dampers, but unless it is gummed up there is no need.

SUs don't have jets. They have one needle valve and one dome spring per carburetor. Start with the needle & spring that's in there. After seeing how it reacts, then change accordingly. Both the Rover 3.5 and the A12 like an air/fuel mixture of about 14:1 and the SU is very flexible. My guess is the damper oil viscosity and the spring will be most important as they have a large effect on sudden throttle openings and closings.

Im just wondering if the is a service or rebuild kit I can buy for one of these?
Do you think I need to do it?

And draw through SU carbie guys, what jetting did you use to start as a baseline for tuning?

Thanks in advance
