Nige suffers from anal seepage too. I wonder if a $4 valve will fix it. Cheaper than teena for men.

Seepage at low flow rates as reported in Amazon product ratings is a continuing problem for one popular, well-regarded brand of regulator.
Seepage may not be a problem for a carburetor which is fed by an engine driven pump, but it becomes a problem when using an electric pump.

It is a mitigation for "a regulator which seeps excessive fuel pressure at low flow rates". Not a fix for a regulator that is always too high.

That achieves nothing.

A regulator which seeps excessive fuel pressure at low flow rates should be returned to the seller, but sometimes that is impossible.

Fuel pressure regulators misbehaving that way can still be used by placing a "t" in the regulator output line and another "t" in the fuel pump inlet line. Connect them with a tube and a needle valve. A small fuel backflow through the needle valve bleeds off the excess pressure.
