240K and 200B struts are heavy find some Australian spec Stanza struts preferably SSS as the spring rates are better suited look for the grey colored strut body these are the ones with the big stub axles same size as 240K and 200B but the 75mm caliper bolt hole spacing, then Commodors calipers fit which have a wide range of fairly cheap and good pads.

Unsprung weight is vital in a B310 and Hilux calipers etc are cast steel and very heavy compared to alloy commodore calipers, Plenty of very quick 1600 rally cars ran fine with commodore calipers and 2400 motors so they were up to the job.

A mate has bmw 4 pots (very similar to hilux) with verada discs on his sr20 sunny. Requires the use of 240k/200b struts but have a look here for more info

S13 Brakes swap is a good one. But there are 4 different S13 brake systems so make sure you get the right parts.

I've done abit more research and found a pic that pigdog put up saying a Vt caliper bolts directly to the sunny strut, also does anyone know if this works with the verada disc, and if so what model is needed

Yeah it was the a12 model, the disc is a reasonable size but the brake pads are stupidly small
