No probs mate, as long as u keep it simple when u go in for the engine no change ie, standard carb and exhaust if possible they can't say much but in saying that most probably won't care as long as the CC's are within spec, coz we aren't driving F1 cars that's for sure :)

Hey DFJ280 nsw reviewed their modification section in november last year and the capacity has changed from 15% to 20% now so the A14 just scrapes in, but on the same hand it's also 20% for power increase... Hope this helps

Clyons,I want to build it strong to handle boost, I'm going draw through but I'm collecting parts as I go to convert to efi and then stretch some good HP. It all costs a lot if was to go efi and turbo in one go.
Dattodude I'm going to engineer the car in the end I hope, it's currently registered with an A14, but iv been told that it should be engineered as the capacity is just over the legal limit.
Dattoman iv been told by having a square engine, it will increase torque. That might be the reason.
The cost to build the motor is scary but I'm going to do it and hopefully not look back

A14 is what I'm using for my turbo build
1mm over to 77 making it 77mm bore x 77mm stroke
My engine builder likes the square dimension idea for this build

$200 for gaskets, rings, and bearings.

But for Turbo application, add the cost of forged pistons.

What would be a good Budget of A14 rebuild if the Head was already done?

In NSW a14 doesnt need engineers certificate. a15 does.

Sounds like the a15 is getting a lot of thumbs up. Next thing is to save up for forged pistons!
