The only problem with this is that you'll have to get your car certified once it has been done, whic'll cost you about $400! I was going to put FXGT 'rolla seats in my 1200 only to find that it would need to be recertified, they now make nice reclining furniture!

Hey all,

I am wanting to put some Nissan primera or mazda dohc turbo seats in my ute.

I was going to chop those floor frames that are spotted to the floor and go across to the tunnel to lower the overall ride height.

I was told this is fine to do by a panelbeater ... and then bolt the rails of the new seats to the floor with some plate.. has anyone done this before or similar ?

Cheers
