Hard to put a price on something without seeing it. A fairly tidy ute (bit of rust in quarters) with good running gear and slightly faded paint just sold the other day for $2500 in Melbourne. But have seen tidy ones going for between $5k-10k.
How bad and where is the rust? It's a non runner from the sounds of it, but are the A15 and A12 motors you mention in good order or rebuilders?
If you can, put some pictures up, it would help. Also if your after the best dollars I reckon it would pay to get it running again.

It's a 1978 model. The A14 engine #OOPS# itself about 6 years ago and I haven't driven it since so it's been slowly rusting away (even under the car cover). I've been paying rego all that time (ouch) as I thought I'd get around to fixing it but haven't and probably never will. So it's time to sell it.
On the plus side it's got a 5 speed gearbox and spare A15 and A12 engines.
