9/73 must have been one of the last B110s. I think the B210 production started in 7/73 when Datsun started each model year. I'm thinking of the Japan-assembled ones, maybe in Australia they were assembled locally?

updated dattos with the same shape sounds very good. But that is why we are here in this club to update our own dattos and make the DATSUN live forever.

74 datto it think it would be cool if nissan made a 2003 model, Same shape just some new colours to the stock range and one huge power packed engine. something along the lines of an sti WRX hp engine would be much appriciated on the comsumers behalf.

Sorry Guys. I've led you astray. My Datto actually has a build date of 9/73. I was getting confused with my daughters 74 Civic.

I didn't think they were made in '74, have you got a digital photo of the compliance plate? The plate on the passenger side.

Feel free to blur out the serial number/engine number.

It'd be interesting to see. Maybe Nissan AUS had a backlog on the wharfs and could get them complied until '74.

David, to take my car off my hands you will have a longer trip than you imagined. I'm in Australia not Alberta. No particular reason for calling it a '74 other than that was when it was made.

I don't know ... at your age you might need the comfort of the big Cressida. Like when you're sore from the high G-forces of the WRX! I know someone who would treat your 1200 sedan well ... I can drive over to Alberta and take it off your hands

Why do you call it a 1974? Is that just a registration thing?
