yep fairlanes and fairmonts usually for earlier Falcoons but also other later model cars have them. Problem is alloy is not easy to weld by shortening places and also tubing is considerably larger which can cause dramas for exhaust or muffler systems.

Hey mate,
Just food for thought,could be an option if your still going to pay someone to mod a tailshaft.
maybe get an aluminium/alloy tailshaft from the wreckers and get it modified to suit?
Some ford models came with aluminium tailshafts from factory.

Awesome bud I have one but freight etc.. would be dearer than shortening in my experience.

Ute shaft should do it. About 40-50 mm shorter seems about right.

Both H150 and H165 use the same flange, but the H150 is only 4 mm different from H145.
