This was George. The actual man that it was named after can be seen on the front page of my website. I just did that to torque you off George!

i dont even think pleading temporary insanity will get you out of this one
Nothing temporary about it. It's only money. I'm not losing any and it gets one car off my plate. I'm now more likely to get another one or two going.

thats usually what happens the motor internals are fine but the wireing and things are the things that replacing like my dads unkle he had an old holden ute like the 40's and 50's years i think and all we did was the spark plugs putched up the tank and some new wire and a new batery and it drove around the padoke a bit but we needed to get to the shed to work on it like the altinator was stuffed but it drove the distance witch was good considering the car has been sitting there for more than 30 years un toched

Actually, the body had some cancer but was relatively straight. All we did to get it running was flush the tank, replace the gas, spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires, and battery. The thing even made a trip to Abilene (about 200miles through Texas' outback!) and back without a hitch. Damn, now I don't want to let it go.

Well, I guess it's OK if you find a good home for them ... When I was young I got a Valiant Duster, I thought that was cool, but realized I couldn't let my 1200 go. So I let my mom drive the 1200 for a year. Then when the thrill of the 'new' car wore off, I realized I needed the 1200 back ... so I got her another car (and convinced her that it was better). Best to keep tabs on 'em like Dimlight is doing

Well, I said I'd never sell the car I bought for $5 but it looks like I am. I ran into an old friend who asked if I had any 1200s for sale. I told him about the one car I was willing to part with. He came by the shop that night and looked it over. He was interested but was concerned with replacing the missing title. After some research, he found it was going to be a bigger pain in the ass than this particular car was worth. While at the shop, he saw the white car with black "racing" stripes that he had spent some seat time in a few years ago. He asked about it but I said "no" and 'splained about the turbo engine I was building for it. A few days later, I started thinking (which is usually dangerous but this time it went more toward the sanity side) and decided that if he were willing to buy the "turbo" engine (minus the turbo bits) with the car, I'd be willing to let it go. His face lit up when I made that suggestion and he made a good monetary offer. So, to make a short story long, I'm letting another one fly from the nest. But it isn't going too far away.
