i will still say that rally is the most skillfull form of motorsport............but freakin crazy.

i envy you driving ability..................
dirt track and i'm absolutley hopeless. i admire you loonies, but you can have it to yourself. (no offense intended, we all love to race)

join a CAMS (if you're in Aus) affilliated car club and get your L2S licence. You'll need some basic safety equipment, then get out and have some fun.

There are clubs that specialise in different aspects of motorsport - ie sprints, hillclimbs, autocross, rallies, motorkhana etc.

that was my old 1000, it actually had a a14 with twin hitachi's and i ran formula ford bags from memory i ran a best of 1.19 (short) track.

That was a quick car, alot faster than the charger. We teased Liam for weeks after that

Are you planning on going to calder park in a few weeks from now? Anyone else? I'll be there with my Datto if I can get the rego sorted by then. Hope to see you there.

good spot chris,

that was my old 1000, it actually had a a14 with twin hitachi's and i ran formula ford bags from memory i ran a best of 1.19 (short) track.

I am sending this just after getting back from winton today.

I ran my new 1000 sports sedan a15 twin 45 webbers built by jeff and john thompon......and i have to brag because i ran a 108.15 and shut down my best mate who has a 1600 with sr20det, high flowed t28 and 196 kws at the wheels .

had an absoulte ball, everyone was coming up to the car wanting to know whether it was an sr20, ca18, 4agz and when i told them it was a a15, one asked "is it turboed" he he. (go the a series).

cheers

The last time I was at winton (april or july of last year), there was a white 1000 coupe competeing. Was it your's? I remember that it had an A15 with twin webers and that it was running slicks.
I was there with my mate and his charger (the mustard coloured one).
