You have a Z18 "Naps Z" eight spark plug engine in your 1974-1978 120Y (body type B210)?

The Z-type engines can use transmissions from L-type engines (510, 610, 710, pickup trucks, etc), they just sit slightly off-level (did I get that right?). You may need to modify the driveshaft, so measure the length of your existing transmission and count the number of splines on the output shaft.

why the fwd i didnt think datsun made a fwd apart from the 100A unless u mean 4wd or i dont know that datsun made a fwd 120y

i have a nissan z 18 the 8 plug engine in my 120 Y 311 it works really well n i want to install a ct 20 turbo in it. But first i broke the back housing by where the yolk enters {dont know y } i bought another n there is a knocking when it goes into 5 th gear (Y ?) And that gearbox is very hard to get in trinidad so if anyone has any info on alternative boxes or housings thankx i would like to know .The box i have is the short type email me @ liveleft@hotmail.com or post it here
