Nismo listed their rear race springs at 2.5kg per mm of deflection,can you work with that?

It assumes that the diff is mounted dead centre of the ellipse. If you're using anything other than full length leafs, you'll have to calculate the seperate leafs individually and add the results.

I ran three full length leafs (raided out of a 120Y station wagon I think) and had them re-cambered to be not quite flat. what ever you do dont recamber them so much that they reverse the camber. Lots people do it but all it does is cause the things to bind up.

cant for the life of me remember what the effective spring rate was....damn old age...

If you can engineer yourself up a slipper front spring mount arrangement and a 4 link with watts linkage it's a really elegant setup which doesnt involve chopping the thing up to put coil overs in it...

can some one please tell me if they know what the correct rating for the rear springs is or what thiers is and how they find it. im building a TRACK only car and i want to get the rear springs right.
