Yeah thats right, but you need a properly setup wallet too for them. 250 bucks sounds like the ticket for a supposedly very noticeable improvement. You get what you pay for but with datsun parts compared to local holden and ford stuff we have to pay merc prices.

The modified live centres ith spring plates were being made by a local guy here in melbourne. They work some but not as good as a properly set up clutch pack LSD.

d,about the lsd for the h190,michael (1200rc) had one done for his h165 in the rallycar,& he probably still has the phone number of the person who did it for him,if it's not posted on his personal website.i've talked to the fellow myself,& he seemed quite genuine & knowledgable.plus he's in melbourne,so it's close to you.all he needs is the bit the spider gears are housed in,you can keep the crown wheel & the carrier.the only drawback is it'll only take 200 hp.hope this helps,i'm sure michael would have said something if he was online. ps he was only asking $250 dollars for the conversion when i was talking to him, too.

Can u adapt an r200 lsd to a live axle in the same way tsillay? That is if you use the right mount of splines on axles as in the r200?

Makes sense, thanks Matt. In the US we say "R&P" (Ring and Pinion).

We've put small axle alloy head vanette diff CW&P on large axle LSD carriers by grinding the vanette CW down to setup the backlash. Saves a ton of weight, but the alloy heads spread under the influence of FJ24's on tarmac rubber....
I dont know where all the small axle LSD's have gone! they probably all got broken by people with rx7 rally cars or FJ24's
