Hmmm, so with the E6K I could kill two birds w/one stone A15 and SR20.... I wonder how much harder it is to setup a fuel and engine management system like the E6K...is it just a crank angle sensor, and a couple coils extra? Then I could toss the distributor and never worry about tune ups again! Yeah it's either gonna be Haltech or Electramotive, and the latter is way more expensive. I've been thinking about EFI all day now, could those little intake ports and small throttle body really out perform the Dellorto 40's???

You will only need a fuel-only computer at the moment. (unless you are going to run a crank angle sensor on the A15). But this computer won't run an SR20, you will need a fuel/ignition computer likle the E6K for this.
Haltech are EXCELLENT computers by the way and provide great support as well.

After doing some research on Haltech, I guess they provide all the necessary equipment/sensors to hook it up. I read an install article on a Range Rover, and it sounded really easy, except the guy had to have it dyno tuned by a shop experienced with Haltech to get it running right. The question I now have is do I need a fuel only management computer (F9A, F10) or something with fuel and engine management (E6K)?? If I planned on later swapping in an SR20 I wonder if I could just re-use the stuff? Which should I go with for that? I really don't know much about all this stuff as you all can probably tell, so anything anyone can tell me will help. Thanks!

Now that I am back with my stuff (Datsun parts), I have been really thinking about going ahead with the EFI swap since I am going to Japan and will be required to pass emissions. I don't think the dual Dellorto's will fare well, especially since I can't get tuning parts for them to get it right. So with that said, I need to know more information on converting to EFI. I've already got the intake, injectors, regulator, and throttle body. I was thinking of going with a Haltech F9A or E6K....will this work? Is it a good choice? I don't have a throttle position sensor or any other sensors except single wire O2 sensor. How exactly do these things hook up and how do you get it running with an aftermarket computer like that? I know I'll have to get a EFI pump and run a return line, but I have never done anything like this before. If it's not too hard I could do it right away, but will I have to get a TPS from somewhere? Will one from a different Nissan EFI work on the A15 EFI??? Any help/comments will be great and I'm sure you all are interested to know how the EFI works, especially compared to Stock, Weber DGV, SU's, and Dellortos all of which I've ran on this engine. Maybe I'll take those old injectors down to be cleaned and flow tested while I'm waiting....
