A mate of mine that used to rally an A14 sunny had one of these problems once,He did not finish the event due to electrical problems....no2(i think) con rod had knocked the dizzy clean off the block!

looks like a little bit too much nitro in the mix,eh.number 3 piston always seems to run leaner than the rest,but not this lean.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

here's two for ya - friends tired motor in his Formula Ford just died one day and the motor would turn but not fire. Pull the head off - hey why is that piston not going up and down when you spin the motor. The crank journal came "undone" from the crank - very bizzare but makes a cool paper weight.
The Yamaha 1000 motor in my old sports racer came apart so violently once that I found a piece of Tortalenni Pasta shaped connecting rod wedged in the tranny upper case half , this was't so suprising as chunks of piston were scattered down a 100yd section of track.

all i found were the rings and just pisont sand, not chunks just grit.
