ive seen a couple of 1200 coupes and utes running around sydney in silver, of all the ones ive seen the lighter more bullet silver ones tend to catch the eye more. but originality is more respectable so im thinkin a more charcoaly silver.

I used the silver and blue colour scheme from the TWR team volvo racing BTCC cars on my 1200. I reckon it looks not half bad.

Yep, lots of silvers don't look so good.

AFracer's silver coupe and the famous Silver Sunny Excellent (pics in the Photo Album) look great in photo.

I also like the gray primer Japan racer in the Photo Album. And I like Ford Mustang gray/dark silver/charcoal metallic paint from around 1990.

I had my old 1000 coupe painted in a couple of different shades of silver,one was Sunny silver which looked average but the other silver was hot,it was a tint that the man at the paint shop made (they do that) so there was no Paint code.It had heaps of sparkle in it and was quite aggressive,looked crap until I cut n polished it correctly....with 1000 wet and dry sand paper.

hehe thats the idea, i want my own eleanor dammit, and thats why i want a lumpy sounding motor too! i think its an original idea in a datsun 1200 coupe sense!! lol thatnks heaps for the info guys ima take all this information down. it is an awesome color isnt it? dont know bout the stripes on a 1200 though, ill c how the silver turns out first.

Yeah Im going for silver myself, this shade looks awsome, but the R32 Jet Silver GTR colour looks great too, especially with 14" black 5 spoke Reflex racing wheels. Anyone with photosop like to make up some different color schemes on a 1200 racing coupe with the flare kit?
