Sunny Truck in Japan (counterpart of 1200 ute) built after October 89 has the booster and front disc brake from the factory. However, I heard that the fire wall is slightly different between the Sunny truck with the booster and without the booster. I have heard some people modify the fire wall and fit the booster and master cylinder but I don't know how big the modification is. I am not sure but I believe the Sunny truck built before Oct 89 (L-(G)B-122) has the same firewall as 1200 ute.

if you want a mean master cylinder the one to get would be the urvan at 15/16", but i dont think its neccesary, in fact i dont think its neccesary to have a booster until you get at least 4wdiscs, so unless you are i wouldnt bother

yeah i have the sunny one, you either need to make a spacer to bring it a little more forward or cut open the hole in the firewall for it to fit, mine was cut open but then my bro-in-law said he would use a spacer next time so he didnt have to cut it, and he drilled holes to mount it too, seems to work well, i have 4wdiscs and pedal is not too heavy but has good feedback too

kegs,
I just ripped the m/cyl off the ute and checked the clutch cable placeing.
It clears the booster with plenty of room to spare.

kegs, it seems that way.
I haven't done it yet but looking at & measuring it itlooks easy.
You will need to drill a few holes to mount the booster.
You may also need to move the clutch cable a touch or atleast pivot it around a bit so there is some clearance from the booster.
I hope to be doing mine in a few weeks so if you need I can advise better after hands on.

I have a 79 Sunny & 85 1200ute
the Sunny M/cyl is the same except that the bore is 13/16 and the ute is 11/16.
The Res for the front is also a little larger to accomodate for the Discs.

Im using a 180B booster on my 1200 ute and it does a pretty good job. I have Verada discs with VS Commodore calipers up front and VP discs and calipers up the back.

I believe there was also a brake bias adjuster in the early (HQ?) Holdens. Shouldnt cost more than $20.
