There is the electronic distributor, but I guess all US A15s have this already.

I would like to recurve mine. I read a corolla review where recurving the distributor and tuning to match picked up 30 hp on an otherwise stock engine (only distributor curve was modfiied).

i saw an article on a japanese site about changing the curve on datsun dizzy's i don't remember where, and it was in japanese the babelfish translation was awful.

not to sound dumb but hat exactly does 'recurve the distributer' mean??
I assume that it modifys the timing that the mechanical and vacum advance activates. Changing the weights in the mechanical advance perhaps??

or am i totally off course
