after i put twin carbiyes( dellortos) what do i do with all the emmissions #### and also with the vacuum stuf that is no longer being used?

what emmission pipes do you have & vaccumm advance you dont run any when you have twins on have got some imfo from nissan on dellortos if you need

huh? no vacuum advance with twin sidedraughts ????
ive got a question that is related, not worth starting a new thread, when u have heaps of things that need vacuum signals is it ok to tee them off a few spots for example ive got, vacuum advance,boost controller,boost gauge, hobbs switch for water injection,boost signal for water injection. can these all be tapped into the inlet manifold or will these different devices get variations in pressure signals ??? to me it seems like vacuum/boost should be constant no matter what....

You really need to take vacuum off all 4 intake runners, and route them to a vacuum reservoir, if you try and take it from just one intake runner it will pulse too much.

so does it have to be a reservoir or can it just be a aluminum block with a few vacuum holes, like a vacuum manifold? i was thinking bout doing this but now u say it may pulse too much sounds like a good idea, that way they will be all getting equal vacuum. damn that is gonna take a few vacuum lines and brass fitiings

I think a 250cc canister should be enough, still you can't run you vacuum advance off it as that needs to be ported vacuum.

Ported vacuum comes from a port in the carburetor, just above the throttle plate. It's not connected directly to the intake manifold.

You can hook distributor vacuum advance directly to the intake manifold, but in that case, be sure to adjust idle air/fuel mixture with the advance line disconnected.

They switched to ported vacuum for emissions control reasons.

hmmm how am i supposed to setup ported vacuum and twin webers with a airbox covering the throats of em? and with stuff that only needs a boost signal not vacuum, then they can all be joined, ive counted 8 things that need either vacuum or boost ......
