does anybody know the diff ratio for a 1982 Bluebird 910 SSS. Is it 3.7, 3.9 or 4.11?

The 910 was never marketed in Australia as a SSS model, but the following is probably still relevant.

Almost ALL of the Australian 910 models that were fitted with the H165 differential used the 3.9 to 1 ratio. Manual or auto, all the same.
The exception was the poverty pack four door sedans with the four speed manual trans. These had a 3.7 to 1 ratio.

thanks for that.
i want to change the diff in my 720 ute as i use it on the open road and i am sick of it revving its nuts off at 100k and having no guts when it comes to hills.
i wonder if an independant rear in a 720 would work?

I parted out a bluebird wagon, that had been L16 powered. Much to my disapointment the diff was 4.1:1.
