You get something like lead replacement oil this is a first for me.

Sounds like a marketing gimmick to me.

I think he means Lead replacement fuel additive, and I don't believe you have to.

I have an A15 in my ute and have been running Unleaded for years without any additives.

My A10 powered 1000 coupe is a different story, however...

Ditto I've got a 82 A14 running on LRP and no problems so far...oh wait I had to retard my timing by a degree or 2 to avoid a nasty knock/ping.
