Hi guys,
I seem to have lost my brake lights, tail lights , parkers, all indicators, fuel gauge, aftermarket tacho & temp gauge alltogether. My aftermarket temp gauge is working though. Any ideas? Fuses? Where are the right ones located? A12 1200 Ute.
Thanx fellas

On a 1200 sedan, there is an earth connection for the rear lights under the bumperbar bolt on the drivers side..
Looking at the Ute parts book (don't have a ute service manual) the wiring is just plugs to the tail lights in the rear, and connecting up under the dash on the drivers side. There doesn't appear to be an earth connection like in the sedans and coupes.
You've probably yanked the connector out that connects to the rear. The cable will probably be a flat ribbon cable that runs under the carpet like the sedans.

Ohh ####. Forgot to mention. Also lost the side indicators, fuel gauge, aftermarket tacho, and temp gauge. All of these things went at the same time.

I would say fuse/s. Also clean your fusebox connections while your at it! That was a problem with my old 1000 ute!

Not sure on a ute but directly under your h/light and wiper switches up under the dash is where they are on a sedan/coupe.
Fuseable link runs from positive terminal on battery into engine bay wiring harness. Its a little green lead with plugs either end, check this if fuses under dash seem ok.

I sense a short circuit here...all these non-factory extras..let me guess, scotch-lock connections and live 12volts hanging around under the dash...
You've blown a fuse.

traced the wiring diagram..it's the bottom left fuse..
Now you just need to figure out what caused it, and assess the damage. Could cost you the price of some electrical tape..could have melted the wires under your dash, meaning you'll be up for thousands based on your unfortunate lack of auto sparky skills.
