Top two pieces go on the top of the sill panel, visible when you open the door. They hold the edge of the carpet to the inner sill panel so that it looks tidy. Bottom left would be the same for the rear door, and bottom right would be for the base of the B pillar (I think its B pillar in between the two doors right?)

Personally I think these metal ones looks a bit average. I wouldn't mind finding a plastic substitute from a donor car to replace them...

The long strips at the top look like sill trims which run along the sill panel below each door, so going by the title 'carpet cover' I would say they are bits of metal that go around the cabin near the doors and things over the carpet to help hold it down.

It made sense in my head, I'm sure someone will be able to explain it better.

EDIT: Dazza beat me to it

Thanks. If I recall correctly, the factory carpet (at least here in USA) didn't go up to the sill, it ended at the sides of the floor, much like the rubber mats. In any case I've never seen this kind of cover before.
